Meniere's Disease | Meniere's Disease Treatment

Generally this type of disease only affects one ear and can also cause stern dizzy spells which is known as vertigo and loss of hearing. Normally the hearing loss oscillates but it will slowly get worse eventually.

Approximately all people who have Meniere's disease have both vestibular and cochlear hydrops.

There are a few symptoms of Meniere's disease such as dizzy spells linked with hearing loss, along with a feeling of completeness in the ear and tinnitus. Always remember that Meniere's disease can strike at any time but generally Meniere's disease starts between the ages of 30 and 50.According to medical professionals the specific cause of the Meniere’s disease is unknown but they says that it may be trigger through these possible things such as stress, excessive salt intake, endocrine problems, abnormal sugar metabolism, an inability to handle fats, leading to high cholesterol and triglycerides.

 

There are a variety of forms of medical treatment and surgical treatment which help to control the Meniere’s disease. Always remember that if the treatment is in progress while your hearing is still fluctuating then it may sometimes be enhanced and stabilized the more advanced the Meniere’s disease. You should also remember that sometimes hearing loss might continue to get worse for some people. Also try to remember that if the surgery could not be performed then the treatment is effectual within two months. Always try to use low sodium diet because due to this dizziness disappears. You can obtain sodium diet from tobacco and caffeine.
